About
I am 17 years old and began playing harp at the age of 7. My first instrument was piano but I was drawn to harp at an early age. Music has been a natural part of my life. I have enjoyed being involved with the Sacramento Youth Symphony and Chamber Music Workshop for many years and am currently principal harpist in Premier Orchestra and work with Sac State and Auburn Symphonys. I have also been principal harpist for the Pacific Youth Symphony. Recent Competitions and workshops have included Curtis Institute Harp Colony, Yvonne LaMothe Schwager Competition, Great Composers Art of Strings, and NPR's From The Top Fellowship and Broadcast. My teachers have always been a blessing and an immense encouragement. I have studied with Dr. Jaquelyn Venter, Madame Fontan-Binoche, and currently Dr. Beverly Wesner-Hoehn and Linda Wood-Rollo. I was homeschooled since kindergarten, now graduated and taking a gap year to pursue my interests before leaving for college. When I'm not practicing or studying, I can be found drawing, painting, saber fencing, cooking & running.
